Our client
Our client based in the CBD are insolvency and forensic accountant specialists and have an opportunity for a manager to join their team. 

Your core responsibilities are focused on managing insolvency appointments and other engagements, driving operational excellence across the team, role modelling the management behaviours that create a high performing, engaged culture and the maintenance and growth of referral partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Discuss potential and actual risks associated with stakeholder action with partner and provide options and recommendations to address issues and mitigate future risks with stakeholders.
  • Formulate and recommend strategies on complex matters that add value to our clients.
  • Manage, train and provide guidance and education to the team to ensure outcomes are obtained.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Manager role in insolvency accounting.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and ability to apply relevant legislation to job matters and navigate through legislation, case law and ARITA Code.
  • Ensure correct insolvency practices (statutory, regulatory, industry standards) are followed on all client files.
Skills/Experience Required:
  • Degree in Accounting / Commerce or equivalent.
  • Full member of ICA or CPA Australia and full member of ARITA.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive working knowledge of Workbench and other software / programs (e.g. MYOB, Quicken, Xero).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail for all documentation and correspondence.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage or assist staff when necessary.
  • Customer centric approach providing outstanding customer service to clients and various parties, ensuring they are updated at all times.
  • Strong business development and networking skills to identify new business opportunities and leverage from existing clients.
