Our client

Our client based in the CBD are insolvency and forensic accountant specialists and have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join their team. 
You will responsible for the financial and operational performance of a team in line with the strategic direction of the business. Your core responsibilities are focused on managing insolvency appointments and other engagements, driving operational excellence across the team, role modelling the management behaviours that create a high performing, engaged culture and the maintenance and growth of referral partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, train and provide guidance and education to the team to ensure outcomes are obtained.
  • Formulating and recommending strategies on complex matters that add value to our clients.
  • Demonstrated experience working in insolvency accounting.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and ability to apply relevant legislation to job matters and navigate through legislation, case law and ARITA Code.
  • Ensure correct insolvency practices (statutory, regulatory, industry standards) are followed on all client files.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and discharge statutory duties and represent Worrells in a professional manner.
Skills/Experience Required:
  • Degree in Accounting / Commerce or equivalent.
  • Full member of ICA or CPA Australia and full member of ARITA.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail for all documentation and correspondence.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage or assist staff when necessary.
  • Customer centric approach providing outstanding customer service to clients and various parties, ensuring they are updated at all times.
  • Strong business development and networking skills to identify new business opportunities and leverage from existing clients.
