The Role:
Reporting to the Board of First National Real Estate, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the organisation, managing the Executive Team to ensure delivery of strategic objectives whilst building strong relationships with members across the network.
Core duties:
- Define and deliver the annual growth objectives of the network encompassing revenue, geographic scope, network size, urban and rural objectives by state
- Establish appropriate budgets and cost controls to enable plan delivery annually
- Manage, motivate and influence team performance to deliver the required financial, operational and service outcomes for the network
- Develop a comprehensive and professional support service for all members providing leading advice in all matters of financial performance, business planning, operations management and control
- Contribute to the design, development and articulation of the strategic direction of the network through active participation with the Board
- Translate the long-term strategy objectives into a Network Plan outlining the key initiatives and targeted network outcomes
- Establish robust systems and processes for auditing of alliance partner business information systems and records to ensure all contractual and financial obligations are met
- Regularly review and report alliance partner performance to agreed KPI’s and contractual standards
- Stakeholder Management through building strong and effective relationships across the broader network regulatory and media community
- Participate in the Board providing representation on all matters pertaining to the operational, member and competitive dimensions of the network
- Establish an appropriate governance framework and control mechanisms to ensure compliance and actively manage risk
- Financial and Asset Management through establishing and implementing comprehensive performance standards and a network control framework
- Develop and implement a network planning system that will deliver the geographic coverage and market density required for brand and member success
- Contribute to the development of an engaged and motivated team culture through articulating and demonstrating the organisation’s values at all times
- Proven success as a Chief Executive Officer
- Senior leadership in a membership or franchise based organisation ideally sought
- Public Relations and Social Media experience
- Skilled in developing strategies that align with organisational goals
- Proficient in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships
- Sound Business and Financial Acumen and an ability to interpret financial data
- Degree qualifications or MBA is preferred and membership in the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) would also be highly regarded
