Our client is a well-established Engineering Consultancy firm based in the Goulburn region of Victoria and has a rare job opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer.
  
In this role as a Senior Civil Engineer Land Development, you will be primarily assisting with multiplot subdivisions and using your skills to provide technical assistance and consultancy to our clients. 
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Qualified Civil Engineer with demonstrated experience in Land development.
  • Scope projects and develop fee proposals.
  • Financial management of engineering component of projects.
  • Ensures projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Identify and manage risks and deliverable, while keeping the project manager informed.
  • Client Liaison either solely or in conjunction with Project Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with the QA system including checklists, procedures and document control requirements.
  • Develop functional designs of required infrastructure.
  • Liaison with service authorities to determine requirements and resolve project related issues.
  • Prepare estimates, works programs and strategic engineering reports as required.
  • Serve as a representative at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to assigned projects.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with junior staff members as required.
  
Skills/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Proven ability to deliver engineering outcomes on time, within budget and to client’s satisfaction.
  • Ability to use a range of computer software applications such as 12D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Have an understanding of planning and environmental legislation.
  • Ability to conduct and understand technical analysis and provide solutions for clients.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and authorities.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach and still willing to be hands on’’ for a small consultancy organisation.
